# Our mission is to make your work with agents more human

We’re Max Winderbaum and Jon Gordner, the cofounders of Comment.

Working with agents can be exciting. It can also be frustrating. There’s a lot of possibility, and still a lot to figure out about how we want to work together.

We’re building Comment to make that work feel more human. A place where you can read what your agent made, bring your own judgment, and shape it together. A place that’s powerful and still feels good to use.

## Keep your judgment in the document

An agent can give you a draft to react to, research to explore, or a plan to work from. You bring the experience to question it, the taste to shape it, and the judgment to decide what to do next.

We want that back-and-forth to feel natural. An editor you enjoy using. Files your agents know how to work with. Comments and suggested edits right in the document. A place where your team can join in.

We think agents are most useful when a whole team shapes them together: everyone adds what they know, sees what the agents did, and decides what stays. Today that’s rare. A few people get great results from agents while the people around them don’t. We’re building Comment to close that gap.

## Built from working together

We worked together on AI-assisted workplace communication at Textio before starting Comment in Seattle. We care about making capable technology useful in the work people actually need to do.
